2018

It’s been a year of change and growth for Xs & ARROWs! After our EP was released towards the end of 2017, I moved across the entirety of LA, and, having to outdo me in every way possible, Susan went and had a baby. It’s taken us awhile to get settled in our new lives, but we are looking forward to getting back to business in 2019.

We did manage to play our biggest gig to date (under our current moniker, at least) in June, at Warner Park in Woodland Hills. That was great fun. Then I played a house gig in Dublin, Ireland in November, which was pretty much the exact opposite experience. My good friends Tiger Cooke and Grainne Hunt (click those links and check them out if you haven’t, because they’re amazing) and I all played solo sets, and you can see Ivi Rebova’s photos from the night here. There might be more adventures of this nature coming for me next year (fingers crossed), so keep your ears out for that. In the meantime, I’m excited to resume rehearsals with my BFFs, the private show we have lined up for February, and what may follow.

I’ve been writing some new songs that I hope to record sooner than later, as well, so from my standpoint, I hope it’s full speed ahead for Xs & ARROWs in 2019.
